The shop's hours are Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.; seven days a week except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Day. The White Raven is family owned and operated since 1983.   At that time Larry chose Peerless Coffee and Tea Company, the #1 roaster on the West Coast since 1928. It was the first coffeehouse in the San Lorenzo Valley and today is the only one in the county with the original owner. Over the years, we’ve strived to present a unique atmosphere and serve the best gourmet coffee, tea and fresh pastries. 

In 1985, Larry set out to make his own chai blend and experimented until he came up with Larry’s Famous Chai. Our customers tell us it is the best tasting chai in the world. Relentlessly, they begged him to package it; last year we did it, and now, it is available to you.The White Raven is more than a coffee shop. Not only do we serve the best tasting gourmet coffee, Organic espresso, tea and Chai in the county (in our humble opinion), we also carry unique gifts, and do our best to support local artists. Our "art gallery" is reserved for local artists.

The White Raven is locally owned and operated by Larry and Kathryn McNeill, with the help of ten other enthusiastic and friendly people. Together, we put our energy into creating a pleasant space here for you. We’re your old-fashioned "Mom and Pop" business and we take pride in the fact that we serve Organic Espresso drinks, fresh locally made baked goods, juices and Organic Vanilla Soy, rice and almond milk. Using recycled, unbleached (whenever possible) paper products and recycling our own waste, we do our part in walking lightly on our Earth.
